Services & Service Areas
Once you have booked a reservation I will set up a "meet and greet." This is a visit before the reservation is to start, where I can come meet you and your pet(s) and get instructions on pet care.
Dog Care:
- Dogs are visited one to four times a day, depending on requests from the owner.
- AM visits take place between 5:30am-9:30am
- Mid-day visits are between 11:00am-1:30pm
- Afternoon visits are between 4:00pm-6:30pm
- PM visits take place between 8pm-10pm
- Mid-day/daily dog care can be arranged for people who work long hours.
- Dogs will be let outside on each visit and will be walked during at least one of the visits at the owner's request.
- Food will be given as scheduled by the owner. Fresh water will be given at each visit.
- Medications, vitamins, supplements or any other special care will be given as instructed by the owner.
Cat Care:
- Cats are visited one to two times per day, depending on requests from the owner.
- AM and PM visits would be the same as above, unless otherwise requested by the owner.
- Cats will receive food as scheduled by the owner. Fresh water will be given at each visit.
- The litter box will be cleaned on each visit.
- Medications, vitamins, supplements or any other special care will be given as instructed by the owner.
Horse and Farm Animal Care:
- Horses are visited twice a day and are fed as instructed by the owner on these visits. They will be turned out and in as instructed by the owner.
- Water buckets are emptied once daily and refilled.
- Stalls are cleaned as well as the barn area.
Home Care:
Home care is included in all contracts and the client will be able to decide which services are best suited for them. Some of the services include, bringing in the mail, alternating lights, pulling curtains open/closed, watering outdoor/indoor plants, filling outdoor bird feeders, turning on/off TV/radio, answering phones, and recycling/garbage disposal. Light house cleaning is also available for a small fee. Please see rates.
Small pets: gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters,(small)birds, hedge hogs etc, can be included with your dog or cat for an extra $5.00 per day and this includes, cleaning out cages, fresh food and water.
Service Areas include: Suffolk, Windsor, Franklin, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Smithfield
I will service Norfolk and VA Beach for slightly higher rates.
